Background
In March 2025, I led Arctic Edge, an Explorers Club Flag and Rolex Watch expedition to Svalbard. Over 11 days, a multidisciplinary team operated in severe Arctic conditions while combining scientific fieldwork, technology testing, education, and expedition performance analysis.
Beyond Arctic Edge builds on that experience. Greenland is the next step: a longer, more isolated expedition using the lessons from Svalbard to support science, digital preservation, field reporting, and exploration of some of the least visited environments on Earth.
